This was AGRITECHNICA 2017

This was a really successful AGRITECHNIA with an above average amount of visitors. The trade fair had many highlights for us like receiving the silver medal of the “AGRITECHNICA INNOVATION AWARD” for developing the new stereoscopic CULTI CAM together with CLAAS and some other companies, as well as the new CHOPSTAR-HYBRID inter-row crop cultivator with horizontal discs for mulch-tillage and our new “Organic Farming Guide-Book” that was given out to the visitors for free.

Organic Farming Guide-Book

Our new “Organic Farming Guide-Book” was very well received by the visitors and had nearly been snatched from us. You can download the guide-book from our homepage in “Download” -> “Brochures” or directly from this link:

CHOPSTAR-HYBRID inter-row crop cultivator with horizontal discs

Our new CHOPSTAR-HYBRID caused a sensation: The CHOPSTAR-HYBRID inter-row crop cultivator with horizontal discs is perfectly suited for mulch. Its operation method prevents clogging of mulch, because it is not pushed sideward, but the discs operate under the mulch and hoe the weed there. The hoe is also very well suited in “living” mulch because it is possible to operate the machine in the mulch seed.

GPS- controlled lifting of hoeing elements

One more highlight at our stand was the GPS-controlled separate hydraulic lifting of hoeing elements. Together with Müller-Elektronik we developed a system that makes hoeing more efficient harms the crops less.

CHOPSTAR-HYBRID inter-row crop cultivator with horizontal discs

The CHOPSTAR-HYBRID inter-row crop cultivator with horizontal disc is the perfect solution for hoeing in mulch. Based on the proven CHOPSTAR hoeing frame there are flat discs mounted freely rotating to the hoeing section. The diameter is adapted to the desired row spacing. These discs cut through the soil just under the surface. They harm the roots of the weed respectively hoe the weed just over the soil surface (but below the mulch layer). High-gauge wheels are mounted in front of the discs. They cut the soil and the mulch layer vertically to guarantee a smooth operation without any clogging.

The CHOPSTAR-HYBRID is perfectly suited for mulch. Its operation method prevents clogging of mulch, because it is not pushed sideward, but the discs operate under the mulch and hoe the weed there. The hoe is also very well suited in “living” mulch because it is possible to operate the machine in the mulch seed.

But CHOPSTAR-HYBRID is not only suited for mulch. It is also the first choice for hoeing in special crops, in vegetables and in crops with much leaf mass (e.g. pumpkins, zucchini), because it operates below the leaves and doesn´t harm the crop.

If the weed density is too high because hoeing was not possible for a long time period or spraying the weed did not work, then the CHOPSTAR-HYBRID can even though hoe these fields without any problems. The flat discs and the cutting high-gauge wheels prevent a clogging also at much weed, as it could be with conventional tines. So, the hoeing succeeds without any problems.

Of course, the CHOPSTAR-HYBRID can be combined with our automatic camera steering system ROW-GUARD.

GPS-controlled lifting of hoeing section for the CHOPSTAR

For an even more exact hoeing result Einböck now offers a hydraulic lifting of individual hoeing sections and finger weeders. One hydraulic cylinder on each hoeing section can lift it up to 300 mm.

The lifting can be controlled manually via toggle switch for each section or via a GPS control unit. This GPS-control lifts the sections exactly at the edge of the field, at the headland, at non-rectangular field or field with sharp edges. This innovation ensures the best protection for the crops and the hoeing takes place exactly where it should be. The system uses the ISOBUS-standard. You can use your existing compatible control unit or you can buy the unit also from us.

The requirements on the tractor are low: 1 single-acting hydraulic control unit and 1 pressure-less return flow are enough. The dispensation of the hydraulic pressure to the cylinders is completely done by the control unit at the CHOPSTAR hoe.

Einböck is focusing on an intense and personal contact with its customers. Therefore the decision was made to build a traning and exhibition center. So there will soon be the possibility for trainings and presentation of various technologies regarding organic and also conventional agriculture directly in Dorf an der Pram, Upper Austria.

The building of this new center starts end of June 2017, the breaking of ground at the production site has already been made. Einböck invests more than 2 million euros in an exhibition hall for their complete range of machines and several seminar and conference rooms for group trainings and also individual personal consultations. Additional offices for the employees will be in the upper part of the building.

An innovative wooden brace construction enables a self-supporting roof over the exhibition area without disturbing support pillars and many open glass surfaces. The result is a very open and light-flooded overall impression. A main advantage of the building are short ways from the training rooms to the machines. With only a few steps you can go from theory to practice.

Einböck is looking forward to being able soon to welcome many visitors in the new building. On the homepage www.einboeck.at you can soon see the actual construction progress.

New factory building

To cope with the rising demands we have extended our operating area with a new factory building. The start of construction was this summer. The building was constructed in record time, so we could put it into operation already this autumn.

Main

Employee parking spaces

Together with the new building we also made a new employee parking space. The increasing number of employees made it a matter of urgent necessity. Now our employees can park on many spacious and lighted parking spaces.

Environmental protection is a major concern at Einböck

As a full-service provider of machines for organic farming the environmental protection is a major concern in the company. We attach great importance on that during the building phase. So for example we opened a piped brook that flows through the company area and restored it to its original state. Even a fish ladder was built. We constructed two retentions basins behind the new building, which can buffer huge water masses and slowly release them again.

Einböck supports the HTL-Ried (polytechnic institute, Upper Austria) focused on „agricultural and environmental technology“

This autumn the HTL Ried im Innkreis starts a new key course element that is focused on agricultural and environmental technology. A close cooperation between the HTL, the agricultural manufacturer Einböck and other companies guarantees a practical education for the students.

161108 HTL

At the beginning of the school year 2016/2017 the Maschinenbau-HTL Ried im Innkreis (polytechnic institute for engineering) sets its focus on the new key course element “agricultural and environmental technology”. This additional education is based on the 5-year engineering curriculum that is complemented by lessons in agricultural technology. And right here Einböck´s support comes into play.

Einböck accompanies the students during their education by supplying machines for the workshops of the HTL, excursions to the company Einböck, the possibility for internships at Einböck, finding topics for dissertations and much more. This close cooperation already during the education can be the basis for an employment relationship between Einböck and the students in the future.

The first school class is visited by 27 students (3 women and 24 men). The goal of this cooperation is to bring these students closer to the technological progresses of the modern agricultural engineering that are growing faster and faster. A huge focus is set on organic farming. As the leading full-service provider of agricultural machines for organic farming with more than 30 years of experience Einböck is for sure the right partner.

With this practical education Einböck wants to offer advantage in knowledge and practical experience to the students. But Einböck also wants to benefit from the ingenuity and the creativity of the students. The cooperation between Einböck and the HTL Ried has achieved notable results in the past, like i.e. the winning of the Mechatronic-Price MEC 2014 (topic: optimisation of an agricultural machine – cultivator). Therefore all participants are sure that also this Partnership will be successful.
